Welcome to the PlantTech 2021 website!

Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic, the organization committee has officially decided to postpone the International Conference PlantTech 2020, set to take place on 6-9 July 2020, to 13-16 September 2021.

The International Conference PlantTech 2021 will take place on 13-16 September 2021 in Belvaux (Luxembourg) and is organized by the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST).

PlantTech is centred on the exploitation of plant resources using plants, plant cells, tissues and organs.

The aim of PlantTech 2021 is to cover the valorization chain of plant resources.  It will bring together experts in the characterization of small molecules/biopolymers and their biosynthetic pathways and those applying this knowledge in dedicated pilot processes.  Therefore, domains such as morphogenesis, stress response, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, chemical characterization and in vitro culture will be discussed together with topics related to the latest innovations in bioprocessing, synthetic biology, metabolic engineering and the use of chassis organisms.

More information about the event.

  • Synthetic biology and genome editing in plants
  • Plant cell, tissue, organ culture and cryopreservation
  • Bioprocess engineering for added value compound production
